Balboa Village - Newport Beach

Updated: Dec 27, 2021

Balboa is one of my favorite destinations in SoCal. It’s bordered by the harbor on one side and by the Pacific Ocean on the other, what else is there to say?!

There’s beauty everywhere you look, so check it out and make sure to include Balboa on your guide next time you’re visiting Newport Beach!

"Hop in a sunset cruise for a romantic date with that special someone, or take a whale and dolphin watching cruise from here"

Balboa Village features a historic amusement area with plenty of attractions and rides (known as Balboa Fun Zone), the Balboa Pavilion, as well as excellent restaurants serving all sorts of food, from Italian to Japanese cuisine, and gift shops/boutiques/galleries.

Do you always feel like your Ferris Wheel ride was too fast? Maybe it's because your are having too much fun but check out the Balboa Ferris Wheel. It might not be the tallest, but they say it's the longest! Tickets are $4 only.

Gaze at the yachts of Newport Harbor or take a morning / afternoon stroll at one of the 2 boardwalks which are great sightseeing locations!

You can also hop in a sunset cruise for a romantic date with that special someone, or take a whale and dolphin watching cruise from here. Prices are on average $20 per person.
