When Smile Brilliant reached out asking me to try their product, first I did my research on the company and how effective and safe their treatment was. I wasn't taking any chances of risking my big day smile.
I learned that their staff used to create whitening trays for local dentists and then developed a system that allows people to easily make their own dental impressions at home, eliminating dentist visits and consequently cutting down a great part of the treatment's cost.

I had tried whitening strips before and even though my teeth did look whiter right after the treatment, the result was uneven color as the strips would not stay in place or cover all of my teeth. How does it work?
The secret is: Custom-fitted trays! Getting the trays is a simple and straight forward process. Every package comes with step-by-step instructions that are easy to follow and take less than 15 minutes. You make the impressions with the putty & plastic trays in the comfort of your own home and mail everything to their lab in the envelope included with paid postage. They mail the custom trays back in a few days and you're ready to start right away. To whiten, brush your teeth with water, rinse the trays, add teeth whitening gel, put the trays on and let this thing work its magic for at least 45 min. Then, desensitize for 20 min and you're done for the day.
Tip: I've found that the best time of the day to whiten is right before bed as you won't eat or drink for hours after each session.
The company advices that "in order to obtain the best results, it's good practice to avoid consuming coffee, tea, dark colored soda, red wine, berries, candy, red sauces, beets, chocolate or any other foods that have a propensity to stain your teeth for 24 hours after a teeth whitening session. This will help your whitening process."
The truth is that your wedding will be beautiful and unforgettable, and no one will really notice if your team improvises some rocks to hold the photo backdrop together so it wouldn't fly away with the wind (true story!).
